Humidifiers

Water flows through the humidifier nozzle into the cleverly sloped PerfectFlo water distribution tray, where eight channels direct the water to flow evenly across the humidifier pad. As thirsty, dry air is forced through the wet pad some of the water evaporates and is distributed throughout your home in safe vapour form. Unevaporated water with dissolved minerals flushes down the drain tube. Thanks to an efficient water-usage scheme Honeywell humidifiers use up to 40% less water than other brands, conserving a valuable natural resource.

Flow-Through Models

Flow-through humidifiers are the most popular type. Available in both flow-through bypass and powered types, they provide excellent performance and are low cost, low maintenance, and compatible with most home heating/cooling equipment.

Steam Humidifiers

Steam humidifiers are the best choice for larger homes, for homes with high efficiency heating/cooling systems, for people with valuable antique or artwork collections, and for people with severe allergies and asthma who need precise humidification for health reasons. Steam humidifiers are capable of independently operating the furnace blower motor to distribute humidified air when needed.

Drum Humidifiers

Drum humidifiers are best suited for homes without a drain located near the heating/cooling equipment, or for homes in areas where water costs are relatively high. Drum units rotate a pad through a reservoir of water, and warm air blows over the pad to evaporate the water. An optional flushing timer may be used to periodically clean minerals from the reservoir.
