When you need to have your heating and/or cooling equipment replaced, you can help by investing in a central air conditioning system that is ENERGY STAR®-qualified.

The following rebates apply to energystar rated furnaces only:
The following have to be replacement installations:
$750 Energy Star Qualified Gas furnace with 92 % AFUE or higher
$1250 Energy Star Qualified Gas furnace with 92 % AFUE or higher and a brushless DC motor
$1300 Energy Star Qualified Gas furnace with 94 % AFUE or higher and a brushless DC motor
$1580 Energy Star Qualified Gas furnace with 94 % AFUE or higher and a brushless DC motor (when replacing with a condensing furnace for the first time)
$750 Install a heat recovery ventilator that is certified by the Home Ventilating Institute (HVI) source: hvi.org

$500 Any energy star rated central air conditioner that has a SEER rating of 14.5 or higher complete with indoor coil and outdoor components.
$50 Up to two energy star rated window air conditioners
The following have to be replacement domestic installations:
$630 For each instantaneous gas water heater with an energy factor (EF) of 0.82 or better
$725 For each condensing water heater that has an EF of 0.90 or better

efficiency has just become a little easier!
The ENERGY STAR mark is administered and promoted in Canada by Natural Resources Canada. Enbridge Gas Distribution promotes ENERGY STAR qualified natural gas furnaces that meet or exceed a 90% AFUE energy efficiency rating.
When you replace a heating system with an ENERGY STAR high-efficiency natural gas heating source, you are eligible for a $100 mail–in rebate.
*$100 will be credited to your Enbridge Gas Distribution account. Offer limited to one rebate per address.
* To be eligible for this Government rebate, all information must be completed, including a valid Enbridge Gas Distribution Inc. account number matched to the address indicated and a copy of proof of installation receipt for an ENERGY STAR qualified high-efficiency natural gas heating system purchased and installed. Offer limited to one rebate per address. This offer may not be combined with any other Enbridge Gas Distribution Inc. natural gas heating system offers. Only residential or selected commercial customers installing a natural gas heating system rated under 300,000 BTU are eligible.
